Catholic Activity: Jesse Tree, Day 16 — Micah

But you, O Bethlehem, who are little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me One who is to be ruler in Israel (Micah 5:1)
Micah was one of the minor prophets of the Old Testament during the eighth century B.C. before the fall of Judah. He was a contemporary of the prophet Isaiah.
His messianic prophecy of where the Messiah was to be born, the birthplace of King David, is referred to in the Gospel of St. Matthew.
