CWN Editor's Note: “While we can’t protect women and children from abortion by the law, we can with love,” Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City said following the failure of the Value Them Both pro-life amendment.
“I think we’re in a great cultural struggle right now,” he added. “Fifty years of legalized abortion in this country has conditioned people to think that there is a right to abortion. What is the right they’re talking about? The right to kill our own children.”
