CWN Editor's Note: The president of the Ivory Coast Catholic Bishops’ Conference, Archbishop Ignace Bessi Dogbo of Korhogo, spoke of the continued need for reconciliation in the wake of the 2010-11 Ivorian crisis.
Côte d’Ivoire, a West African nation of 28 million (map), is 44% Muslim, 18% Catholic, and 16% Protestant, with 22% adhering to ethnic religions.
