Last survivor of Tibhirine massacre dies at 97

CWN Editor's Note: Father Jean Pierre Schumacher, one of two monks who survived a massacre at a Trappist monastery in Algeria, has died at the age of 97.
Father Schumacher had been the night porter at the Tibhirine abbey in March 1996, when Islamic terrorist burst in, kidnapping seven monks, who were later beheaded.
