September 06, 2016
A priest who once served as the Diocese of Orlando’s chancellor has been removed from ministry.
Father Nicholas King was arrested on charges of defrauding a 79-year-old widow of $88,700. He allegedly spent the money on a car and other personal items at a time when his Rockledge, Florida parish lacked funds to pay wages to employees of its school, according to a local media report.
