Catholic Recipe: Gingerbread Cookies
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 egg, beaten

DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients thoroughly except beaten egg. Roll out dough 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Brush with beaten egg. Bake on greased, floured baking sheet 15-20 minutes at 350°. Yield, 1 dozen
