Catholic Recipe: Holly Punch Bowl (Christmas)
Cranberry and grapefruit juice gives the red "holly" color to this punch.
Heat cranberry juice. Dissolve brown sugar in hot juice; add grapefruit juice; mix well; chill. Pour over ice in punch bowl. Add ice cold ginger ale. Stir gently to mix. Makes 16 punch cup servings.Recipe Source: Cook's Blessings, The by Demetria Taylor, Random House, New York, 1965
