Catholic Recipe: Dixie Cole Slaw
INGREDIENTS
- 9 pounds cabbage, finely shredded (3-3/4 gallons)
- 2 pounds carrots, finely shredded (2 quarts)
- 3/4 cup finely minced onion
- 1 Tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 quart Italian salad dressing

DIRECTIONS
Combine first 6 ingredients. Chill thoroughly. Just before serving, add salad dressing; mix lightly until well combined. Makes 80 servings.
