Prayer:

BEFORE THE MEAL

Leader: Blessed is the Lord, our God, Creator of the universe; for he provides nourishing food for all his creatures and sustains the whole world with his goodness, kindness, and loving favor.

ALL: Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy endures for ever.

Leader: All-merciful God, send your life-giving Spirit on our household and on all dear to us, and bless this table as we join together and say:

ALL: Amen.

AFTER THE MEAL

Leader: Give us grateful hearts, our Father, for all your mercies, and make us mindful of the needs of others, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

ALL: Amen.
