Random Term from the Dictionary:

REBAPTISM

The term is inaccurate if taken literally, because baptism imprints an indelible mark on the soul, which means that it cannot, because it need not, be repeated. In the early centuries, Pope St. Stephen insisted with St. Cyprian of Carthage that not even apostasy can eradicate the sacramental character conferred in baptism.
