JOHN MARK

The writer of the second Gospel. Several times in the Acts of the Apostles he is referred to as John Mark (Acts 12:12, 12:25, 15:37). Twice he is referred to simply as John (Acts 13:5, 13:13). But normally readers of the Bible think of him as Mark.
