CRUSADER'S CROSS

A symbol, known also as the Jerusalem cross, that is said to have been the emblem on the coat of arms of Godfrey Bouillon (1060-1100), first ruler of the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem. It is a Greek Cross with four equal arms having a smaller Greek cross in each of four corner fields. This cross is usually shown as red painted or appliquéd on white material.
