Quick Hit: Petition to Impeach Obama

By Dr. Jeff Mirus (bio - articles - email) | May 16, 2016

Shortly after I began my series on gender ideology (see Gender ideology and our fatal empire of desire), Robert  Marshall called my attention to his petition to impeach those in the US Federal government who are attempting to force the states to ensure the access of transgender individuals to the bathrooms and locker rooms of their choice. Marshall is a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, with a sterling pro-life and pro-family record.

The petition can be signed on Change.org, which is essentially a petition site which makes it easy for anyone to promote virtually any cause. Of course, using the website will put you on an email list to be notified of other worthy causes, many of which are insignificant, silly or even morally wrong, and almost all of which will be off-topic. For example, after I signed the Marshall petition to impeach President Barack Obama, Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Secretary of Education John King, I was taken to a “similar“ petition to stop the torture of Greyhounds in Spain.

I suppose that is a small price to pay. If you are interested: https://www.change.org/p/paul-ryan-impeach-president-obama-attorney-general-loretta-lynch-sec-of-education-john-king.

Yes, one does get some strange petitions to sign on some sites. Let us hope that we're wise enough to skip past the ones that are "egregiously wrong"!!! Whoever is nominated for president should seriously consider who their running mate is going to be; he or she had better be someone the citizens won't be more afraid of than the candidate they voted against.

Although the U.S. senate never opposes Obama's will in any substantial way, and therefore signing a petition may appear a useless gesture, the will of the people when strengthened by the 2nd Amendment may suffice to forestall more drastic measures that he could take to interfere with the November elections or even the normal functioning of Congress. The Alinsky rule is to disrupt the moral order in any way that might ensure success. The Church must always stand as the rule's mortal enemy.

I don't know Dr Jeff. Search engines are smarter than I am. Who am I to argue that there are no canine similarities between those 4 petition subjects?

As I always say to the LaRouchies who set up shop outside my local post office on Saturdays, before you consider impeaching Obama, consider whether you really want Biden as president.
