VATICAN CITY, 30 APR 2010 (VIS) - The Holy Father today received in audience Cardinal George Pell, archbishop of Sydney, Australia.

… you may be interested to learn that according to Vatican-watcher Paolo Rodari of Il Foglio, after his talk with the Holy Father, Cardinal Pell had a long visit with Cardinal Re in his office at the Congregation for Bishops.

When I say "his" office, I mean Cardinal Re's. But the Italian cardinal has held that office for 10 years now, and since he turned 76 in January he's overdue for retirement. According to the rumor in Rome, it will be Cardinal Pell's office soon.

It looks as if your tip might be right, although I had thought that Cardinal Pell might've been there to help the Pope and the Cardinals with their footy tipping.
