CWN Editor's Note: Addressing an international Marian conference in Rome, Cardinal Gerhard Müller said that when “Mary is called ‘Co-Redemptrix’ in Catholic piety and theology, this is neither a misleading attribution nor an enthusiastic exaggeration, but a truth objectively contained in Revelation.”
Cardinal Müller delivered his talk, entitled “The Blessed Virgin Mary’s Cooperation in Redemption,” nearly a year after the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith issued a document that discouraged the use of the title.
