Indianapolis archbishop grants Mass dispensation amid ICE detention fears

CWN Editor's Note: Archbishop Charles Thompson of Indianapolis, Indiana, granted a dispensation from Sunday Mass attendance to “those who have reasonable grounds to fear being detained, separated from their families, or subjected to intimidation due to the tightening of immigration enforcement measures,” even if they possess the appropriate legal documentation.”
The dispensation expires on September 30.
