Program announced for Pope’s visit to San Marino, Rimini

The Holy See Press Office released a detailed program of Pope Leo XIV’s August 22 pastoral visit to the nation of San Marino and to the Italian city of Rimini.
In San Marino, the Pontiff is scheduled to meet with the country’s leaders and visit the Basilica of St. Marinus, where he will adore the Blessed Sacrament and venerate the saint’s relics.
After leaving San Marino, Pope Leo will visit a convent of Augustinian nuns in the small town of Pennabilli. In Rimini, the Pope will take part in the Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples, an annual conference organized by the Fraternity of Communion and Liberation, before visiting the cathedral and celebrating an outdoor Mass at the city’s marina.
The Pope is scheduled to leave from the Vatican by helicopter at 8:00 AM and to return at 9:00 PM.
