London newspaper highlights new evidence of abortion-breast cancer connection
June 25, 2010
While American media outlets remain silent on the issue, London’s Daily Mail has called attention to a new medical study showing the connection between abortion and breast cancer.
The latest study, published in Cancer Epidemiology, found that abortion could triple a woman’s risk of breast cancer. Nursing babies lowers the risk, the study found. This was the 4th scientific study to be released this year showing evidence of a causal tie between abortion and breast cancer. The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists has now recognized the possibility of a connection. But American journalists ignore the issue. Pro-life blogger Jill Stanek notes: “I’ve said before the British press is much more honest about abortion than the American press.”
