Papal condolences after deadly landslide in Colombia

CWN Editor's Note: Pope Francis has sent a message of sympathy to the victims of a landslide in Colombia.
The papal message—conveyed in a telegram to Bishop Bishop Mario de Jesús Álvarez Gómez of Quibdo—said that he was “deeply sorrowed” by news of the disaster, and offered his prayers for “consolation to the bereaved and to all those who are suffering.”
