CWN Editor's Note: An official census shows that Hungary’s Catholic population has dropped by almost 30% since 2011 and by 50% since 2001.
Historically the majority religion in Hungary, Catholicism now accounts for only 28% of the population.
The census revealed that two-thirds of the country’s people did not identify themselves with any religious faith.
