Help people stay home, Pope says in message to Migration Festival

CWN Editor's Note: In a message to the 8th Migration Festival, organized by the Italian bishops’ conference, Pope Francis said that alongside work to accommodate migrants, “active efforts must be made to guarantee to everyone the right not to have to migrate.”
The theme of the Italian festival is taken from the theme of this year’s World Day for Migrants: “Free to leave, free to stay.”
