Pope cites Sts. Cyril and Methodius as models of inculturation

“Inculturation of faith, evangelization of culture, always,” the Pope said. He told his audience that the saints had encountered opposition from Catholics of “a closed mindset,” who insisted that prayers should always be in Latin.
