US abortion numbers slightly up since Dobbs decision?

CWN Editor's Note: The number of abortions performed in the United States has not decreased—in fact has increased slightly—since the Dobbs decision, according to a report published by the New York Times.

The Times report, based on information provided by abortionists, said that the sharp decline in abortions in states where the procedure has been effectively outlawed was counterbalanced by an increase in the states where the practice remains legal.

The report also took into account a sharp increase in the number of abortions using drugs that can now be obtained by mail.
