Officials learned wrong lessons from Covid, Stanford professor warns

CWN Editor's Note: In a Newsweek column Jay Bhattacharya—the Stanford public-health professor whose questions about the Covid lockdown were suppressed on social media—warns: “As things stand, in the next pandemic, the lockdowns will recur.”
Bhattacharya, a co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration, argues that government leaders have learned the wrong lessons from the Covid epidemic. He insists that “a uniform national response will never be the right response, for the simple reason that the US is such a large, geographically and culturally diverse country.”
