Mozambique bishop says terrorists not motivated by religion

CWN Editor's Note: A Catholic bishop in Mozambique says that recent terrorist attacks are not motivated by religious differences, although the attackers identify themselves as Muslims.
Bishop Alberto Vera Arejula of Nacala explains that economic factors, including a desire to control rich oil fields, are a factor in the terrorists’ plans—as are drug traffickiong and prostitution.
