Haitian Church leaders urge action to end unrest

CWN Editor's Note: The Haitian Conference of Religious (CHR) has called for effective government action to end the “unprecedented and random acts of violence” that have shaken the country.
The group challenged political leaders to take responsibility for restoring peace, as rioting and looting broke out, following mass public demonstrations demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry.
