CWN Editor's Note: At least two Catholic churches in the Archdiocese of Detroit are serving as venues for “Candlelight Concerts” in a summer program of popular music.

Sts. Peter and Paul Jesuit Church is hosting a program “From Bach to the Beatles” on July 27, followed by a musical ‘Tribute to Queen’ that will feature songs including “We Will Rock You,” “We are the Champions,” and “Fat Bottomed Girls.”

On October 26, the basilica of St. Anne de Detroit will be used for a presentation of “Halloween Classics,” including Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and the theme from the Addams Family TV show.
