China said to ask Russia to delay Ukraine invasion until after Olympics

CWN Editor's Note: Government officials in China have denied a New York Times report that Beijing asked Russian President Putin to delay the invasion of Ukraine until after the Winter Olympic Games.
The Times cited intelligence reports from the US and another unnamed Western country, suggesting that the Chinese request came during a direct conversation between Putin and Chinese Premier Xi Jinping.
