CWN Editor's Note: Islamic leaders have decried the lynching of a Muslim man in the Punjab province, who was killed by a mob after being accused of blasphemy against Islam.
The killing—of a man who was described as mentally ill—sparked a horrified reaction by Muslim officials. Christians in Pakistan have protested for years against blasphemy laws that allow for unfounded accusations and frequently lead to mob violence.
