Bishop pleads for aid as thousands displaced by fighting in South Sudan

CWN Editor's Note: “Thousands of people have lost their lives, others have been displaced and live in a very bad situation of lack of shelter, food, water and many other things,” Bishop Edward Hiiboro Kussal of Tombura-Yambio reported after a new outbreak of military clashes in the west of South Sudan. The bishop issued an urgent call for aid as thousands of families were forced to leave their homes to escape the fighting.
