Roman court rules Vatican must return seized cash

CWN Editor's Note: A court in Rome has ordered Vatican officials to return cash and other property seized from the home of Fabrizio Tirabassi, an official of the Vatican Secretariat of State, who is under investigation in connection with Vatican financial irregularities. The court ruled that the search and seizure of Tirabassi’s property was illegal, because it had been authorized only by a Vatican prosecutor without court approval.
