CWN Editor's Note: Catholic parishes in the US will see a 24% decline in collections during this fiscal year, according to a Villanova University study. The steep decline is clearly related to the Covid shutdown, although contributions had been slipping by 7% annually over the previous three years. The Villanova study reports that parishes actively engaged in internet outreach enjoyed better results, while other parishes saw their collection revenues cut in half.
