Dominican priest working on alternative Covid vaccine

CWN Editor's Note: Father Nicanor Austriaco, a microbiologist affiliated with Providence College, is working to develop a Covid vaccine in his native Philippines. He said that his proposed vaccine, which is still in the early stages of development, is being designed to be available at low cost, and not require refrigeration, so that it could be easily distributed in low-income societies.
