Nigerian bishops plead for end to violence

CWN Editor's Note: The Catholic bishops of Nigeria have issued an appeal for government action to curb “unabated acts of terrorism” against Christians in the country’s north. Their statement followed the massacre of more than 30 people, mostly women and children, in the Kaduna state. The region has been troubled by attacks on Christian villages by Islamic extremists.
