Bishop Williamson appeals penalty for questioning Holocaust

Bishop Richard Williamson, the traditionalist prelate whose public statements questioning the severity of the Holocaust precipitated an uproar, has entered an appeal of a German court's decision to fine him for those remarks. The appeal means that the matter will be settled at a court trial, allowing the bishop to explain and defend his views.
