CWN Editor's Note: Cardinal Raymond Burke told the National Catholic Register that although he is pleased that Pope Francis did not endorse a call for married priests in Querida Amazonia, he is still troubled by the post-synodal document. Questions about clerical celibacy are still raised, the American cardinal observed, and other “troubling” question arise in the document. Confusion over doctrine hampers evangelization, he said: “We’re weaker than ever in our witness.”
