CWN Editor's Note: Father David Echioda, who was kidnapped from his parish in the Otukpo diocese on March 1, was released by his captors two days later. Kidnappings of Catholic priests and other Church officials has become increasingly common in Nigeria, and Church leaders have demanded action by the government.
