Police remove cross from cemetery in India

CWN Editor's Note: Archbishop Peter Machado of Bangladore has appealed to police to return a cross that was removed from a local Christian cemetery after Hindu activists complained that Christians were engaged in forcible conversions. The archbishop observed that the complaints came from outside the community; he said that local Christians were on harmonious terms with their neighbors.
