CAFOD has no scientific basis for evaluating what "a credible climate leader" is. The Gospel teaching on stewardship and prudence are all the guidance the laity need to make lifestyle choices. Appeals like this irritate laity who wish Church leaders would put more emphasis on saving souls, rather than on saving this world which is passing away.
