Jesus Christ “invites His disciples to experience prayer, placing them directly in communication with the Father, inspiring in them a nostalgia for a personal relationship with God, with the Father,” Pope Francis said to pilgrims gathered in St. Peter’s Square. “Here lies the novelty of Christian prayer!”
