India: police raid Jesuit’s residence

CWN Editor's Note: Police in Maharashtra, in western India, have raided the home of Father Stanislaus Lourdusamy, apparently looking for evidence that would support charges that he is linked to a Maoist rebel group. The Jesuit priest’s supporters say that he has been targeted because he has defended the rights of local tribes.
