    It seems that the anticipated abuses of the Vatican-Beijing agreement have already come about. The agreement needs clarification at the highest levels. After that clarification, it should be made public. At the same time, the Holy Father needs to address the increasing restrictions on the free exercise of religion in China. Especially repugnant is the forced "re-education" of Muslim minority groups.
