US delegates chosen for October Synod meeting

CWN Editor's Note: Pope Francis has approved the vote of the US bishops to appoint five delegates to the October meeting of the Synod of Bishops. The American delegates will be: Cardinal Daniel DiNardo of Houston; Archbishop José Gomez of Los Angeles; Archbishop Charles Chaput of Philadelphia; Bishop Frank Caggiano of Bridgeport; and Bishop Robert Barron, an auxiliary of the Los Angeles archdiocese.
