Metropolitan Hilarion criticized actions by Ukrainian Orthodox churches that are separated from the Moscow Patriarchate, stated that the “Uniates” of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church are taking advantage of the situation, and even raised the specter of forced conversions to Catholicism.
