CWN Editor's Note: Pope Francis accepted the resignation of Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, 80, as president of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts and appointed the pontifical council’s adjunct secretary as his successor. The Pope also accepted the resignation a Philippine bishop for reasons of age and appointed his successor. Finally, the Pope appointed an apostolic nuncio in Azerbaijan and an Eastern Catholic bishop in Hungary.
