Elderly nun collapses, dies during court hearing on Katy Perry case

CWN Editor's Note: Sister Catherine Rose Holzman collapsed during a California court hearing on the sale of the convent in which she had lived to entertainer Katy Perry. Sister Holzman, who was 89, had been one of two religious waging a legal battle to prevent the sale by the Los Angeles archdiocese. The two nuns had argued—to date unsuccessfully—that the archdiocese lacked the legal authority to make the sale.
