Obama to meet Pope in July?

US President Barack Obama will visit Pope Benedict XVI in July, according to Italy's ANSA news agency. Obama will be in Italy for a G8 meeting July 8-10; ANSA speculates that he might meet with the Pope on July 10.

The Vatican has not issued any official public comment on the ANSA report.
