Blessed Miguel Pro in a new light

Writing for the American Spectator, Joseph Duggan offers a fresh perspective on the witty and energetic priest who became Mexico’s most famous martyr: Father Miguel Pro.

The pantomime-priest was Orthodoxy’s Charlie Chaplin versus the Dictatorship of Relativism. As did Chesterton and Walker Percy, he understood that sacrilege is countered most effectively not with sanctimony but with ridicule.
