Live the year of mercy, Pope tells Czech and Romanian Catholics

September 12, 2016

Following his September 10 jubilee audience, Pope Francis greeted Czech and Romanian Catholics who were making national pilgrimages to Rome and asked them to live out the jubilee year of mercy.

“Dear brothers and sisters, I hope that you will live this Jubilee with faith, rediscovering the beauty of practicing the works of mercy, a concrete manifestation of God’s love for every one of His sons and daughters,” he said to Czech Catholics.

The Pope then told Romanian Catholics that “each one of you can be a leaven for life and an instrument of communion in your own family, at work, in the parish and in the groups to which you belong. I invite you to be, in daily life, a visible sign of the mercy of God, Who does not want to leave anyone in solitude or in need.”
