Russia: 6 charged with illegal missionary activity

In the month since a new Russian law against illegal missionary activity went into effect, six individuals have faced charges, according to Forum 18.
In different parts of the nation, a Russian Baptist has was fined $77, while an American Baptist pastor and Ghanaian citizen were fined $614 and $770 respectively. A Russian Pentecostal leader and a Seventh-Day Adventist have not yet received their sentences; a Hare Krishna adherent has been acquitted.
